July 2023 marks 10 years since we held our first food truck event as Nipa Hut and in those years we’ve dished out thousands of meals, met hundreds of people from around the world, and created endless memories that we are so grateful to have shared with you all. We were notified in advance about the possible sale of the building we currently occupy. With our lease expiring soon, we thought it was a good time to end this chapter as a restaurant. We’ll stay open through Frontier Days but our last day at 4014 Central Ave will be August 12, 2023.

Even though we won’t have a drive-thru or dine-in space, we hope to go back to our roots as a food truck serving at events and providing catering options. We’ve got a long ways before that can happen but we’ll keep you updated.

To our regulars, family, and friends that have been with us all along, thank you for the support and encouragement! We loved cooking for you in our bamboo hut of the high plains.
